PROJECT BY
Arch. Massimo Venegoni - Studio Dedalo Torino
DATE
giugno 2016
"The exposition path of the megalithic area Saint-Martin-de-Corleans begins with a temporal descent from current times to the prehistoric age: Along the way there are images from human history. The runways at the entrance lead the guest to the arecheological site, around 6 meters below the street level."
Following the project by architect Massimo Venegoni, Gruppofallani realized the whole museum staging: island showcases, niche shrines inside the walls, a huge exposition furniture with a "Timeline" composed of integrated showcases and backlit panels.
A particular attention was given to the cladding of the "Steli"'s basement, around 200 sqm of laser-cutted brown brass plate.
The floor of the upper level is composed of squared steel plate tiles, with a surface of around 600 sqm that has been hand screen printed and then placed on the construction site.
All the artwork supports have been drawn one by one by the architect and then built with steel, wood and glass. The graphic part is composed of 90 huge lightboxes that show the way to the guest. The itinerary is divided in six sections that follow and rebuild the different ages of the site.
